This kraut has a warm, earthy taste from beets, which also give it its color; the cabbage is white, not red! Tastes great as is, or mixed with olive or sesame oil, boiled eggs, or nuts if you want to make it a heartier side or light meal. The original name of this product was "Georgian Red", as it's a version of fermented cabbage common in that country's cuisine. 8 ounces.
